Betrayed by her husband Victor and his protégée Lina, who stole her decade-long chess repertoire to sabotage her career, Grandmaster Sophia fought back. Unable to prove the theft, she self-taught machine learning and developed the chess AI "Athena." Using Athena, she anonymously defeated them online before publicly exposing the data breach and winning live fair matches. This prompted an investigation, resulting in two-year suspensions for the cheaters. Sophia then became head coach of the national women's team, using Athena as a training partner. Her disciple Emily became a world youth champion, while a remote prodigy, Maya, joined the team. Over five years, Sophia nurtured independent female players, proving human intellect cannot be stolen. Athena evolved from a revenge tool into a shared companion. Victor later apologized after his suspension, but Sophia had already moved on, dedicating herself to mentoring the next generation.
