Synopsis
Emma Hayes is a self-made female tycoon who rarely steps into the public eye. For years, she has poured all her energy into her career and her son, long forgetting what it feels like to live for herself.
An unexpected turn of events leads to a one-night stand with Toby Bennett, a CEO twenty years her junior. While Emma views it as a fleeting, anonymous encounter that ends at dawn, Toby becomes convinced she is the woman he wants. Emma tries to end things, but Toby refuses to back down, even publicly declaring his intention to marry her. However, a shocking twist awaits during the meeting with his parents: they turn out to be her former college classmates—and Toby’s father had once passionately pursued her. Toby’s mother, unable to let go of past jealousy and resentment, adamantly refuses to accept Emma as her daughter-in-law.
