Synopsis
A burst of golden light tears through the hall as my husband, the Dragon King, descends. "Take your filthy hands off my Dragon Queen!" The entire crowd freezes, utterly stunned. I am the true Dragon Queen, yet I plotted to get engaged to my father's killer, who mocked me alongside his mother and pregnant mistress, sneering that being his temporary lair mate was the highest honor I could ever gain. Now, with my king beside me, I strike him hard across the face.
